I have been working in the field of English Language education for almost twenty years, beginning in EFL and before moving into Higher Education. I have a DELTA, CELTA, and PGCert HE as well as PhD in English Literature & Creative Writing and an MA in Applied Linguistics & ELT. I am interested in critical pedagogy and social linguistics. I am currently Head of English Language for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Edinburgh.
